Normally, sign installation in New Orleans requires a long process of permitting that involves communication between at three or more different parties, depending on the particular variety of signage and the location.
As a licensed sign company that is registered with the Department of Safety & Permits in the city of New Orleans, which is responsible for enforcing building and construction standards in the city, we can expedite this process. This means we can install signs anywhere in the city without waiting for an individual permit, depending on the neighborhood, location, or zone. Individual permits usually take weeks to clear.
We will let you know which permits are necessary after the survey and quoting process. Even if we aren’t making a sign for you, we can still take care of the permitting for any existing signage you have- we understand if you don’t feel like filling out a bunch of complicated paperwork and taking trips to City Hall.
